In August 2013, the Department of Sport, Arts, Culture and Recreation, in partnership with South African Sports Confederation Council (SASCOC), launched the National Training Centre(NTC) in Bloemfontein as South Africa’s top training facility for top class athletes. The primary objective of the Centre is to ensure that national and international athletes receive the best possible training and conditioning in preparation of national and international sport competitions.
