As part of the annual MACUFE activities, the Department of Sport, Arts, Culture and
Recreation will host the MACUFE Big Family Fun Walk on 13 October 2013.
The Department, in partnership with National Youth Skills and the Department of
Correctional Services will be hosting Big Family Fun Walk to support offenders, ex-
offenders and rural youth education. This year's event will include a Gogo Walk,
Senior Citizens, Family, Athletic Clubs, students and soccer lovers who will attend
the MACUFE Cup game after the fun walk.
The Big Family Fun Walk will take place as follows:

Sport and Recreation Building (Bloemfontein Psychiatric Complex), c/o President Brand Street and Victoria Avenue.

A donation of R20 will guarantee your entrance. Proceeds from the Fun Walk will be
utilized to kick-start the Macufe Bursary scheme and be donated to the education of
offenders, ex-offenders and rural youth.
Registration will be at the venue on the day of the event. Lots of prizes like T-shirts,
medals, and massages by trained physiotherapists to the finishers will be awarded.
