Payments to artists whose applications were successful in the category of Financial Relief started on 17 July 2020. Though details surrounding Ms Zinzi Mandela’s passing are still not clear at this stage, MEC Mahasa, however, wishes to take this opportunity to express her deep condolences to the Mandela family, friends, comrades and colleagues. MEC MAHASA APPOINTS NEW FREE STATE ARTS AND CULTURE COUNCILFollowing the lapsing of the term of the Free State Arts and Culture Council (PACC), the new council has been appointed in line with Free State Arts and Culture Council Act, 2007 (Act No. 7 of 2007). The outgoing council was appointed in September 2016 for a period of three (3) years as gazetted on 23 September 2016.
