Application for Free State artists relief fund is open from 24 – 31 March 2021. Applications and enquiries must be addressed to the Free State Arts and Culture Council (FSACC) and must be e-mailed to the following email address: <b>[mailto:aisfreestate@gmail.com aisfreestate@gmail.com]</b>   


    <b>Criteria: Compulsory</b>
    1. Applicants must be South African Citizens.
    2. Applicants must be self-employed
    3. Applicants must submit a certified copy of their official South African Identity Document.
    4. Applicants must be official and permanent Free State residents. 
    5. Applicants must be ongoing active artists in at least one specific artistic genre.
    6. Stamped proof of banking details must be submitted.
    7. Applicants income must be solely dependent on artistic work or performances.
    8. No part-time or permanent Government employees must apply for this funding. 
    9. Motivation for relief assistance must be provided on the specified space in the application form.
    10. Late applications will NOT be accepted or considered.
    11. Incomplete application form will NOT be accepted or considered.
    12. Each artist is expected to apply only ONCE.
    13. Applicants must be above 18 years of age and above
    14. No Group applications will be accepted – only individual application per artist.
    15. No companies, closed corporations (CC’s), PTY’s, NGO’s, NPO’s and NPC’s will be allowed to apply.
    16. Backing vocalists, photographers, videographers, technical artists, and make-up artists are also encouraged to apply.  


    <b>NB:</b> 
    1. Preferences will be given to youth, women and people with disabilities.
    2. Names of successful applicants will be published on DSACR website within 14 days after the closing date.
    3. No hand delivered applications will be received or accepted.  
    4. All the rights to fund or not to fund any applicant is vested with the Free State Arts and Culture Council (FSACC).
    5. Funding will be allocated to successful applicants proportionally and based on a budget allocation for this purpose.     
    6. Applicants must scan all their information in 1 x PDF document and e-mail it to the above-mentioned e-mail address.
